About The Position

Agape is hiring a full or part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our joyful, collaborative and growing team. We encourage new graduates to apply! Prior pediatric experience isn't required - we provide training and support to help you succeed in this setting. Agape provides Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) services for children of all ages and conditions living in the Tri-Cities (Richland, Kennewick and Pasco). Agape is a therapist-owned and locally run pediatric therapy clinic in Richland, WA. Agape has been voted BEST Pediatric Therapy clinic in Tri-Cities three years in a row. Requirements

  • Must hold a current Washington state Occupational Therapy Assistant license
  • Out of state or a new grad not yet licensed, must be willing to obtain WA COTA license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic treatment under supervision of an OT
  • Meet weekly with your supervising OT regarding patient progress, concerns and treatments
  • Develop and train caregivers in home program
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Document clearly and concisely
  • Collaborate across disciplines
  • Attend team meetings
  • Manage time efficiently and follow schedule
  • Maintain active WA state licensure and complete all required CEUs
  • Support clinic culture and mission
