The Occupational Therapy Assistant Instructor, under the general supervision of the Program Director, delivers class and/or clinical instruction according to an approved course syllabus using accepted and effective teaching methods. This role involves developing daily lesson plans, advising and tutoring students, maintaining accurate attendance and grade records, and staying current in the applicable program teaching field. The instructor also participates in faculty meetings, professional growth activities, and in-service training sessions. A key aspect of this role is striving for student success by providing quality instruction that leads to the achievement of course and program objectives, student retention, and preparation for entry-level positions in the healthcare field.
