About The Position

Ascension at Home together with Compassus is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support Occupational Therapists (OTs) in delivering exceptional patient care. This role focuses on therapy goals and patient progress, utilizing AI-supported tools to assist in documentation, thereby allowing more time for quality patient interaction. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, reduced documentation burden through AI tools, work-life balance by minimizing after-hours documentation, and enhanced efficiency via technology-driven workflows that simplify compliance with care standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
• Active and unencumbered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of employment required.
• Required within 30 days of hire - National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
