About The Position

Legacy Village of Taylorsville is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who is passionate about helping others and is excited to be part of our incredible team. As a COTA with our rehab center, you have the opportunity to provide direct care to our residents to help improve their overall well-being and quality of life. While working full-time as a COTA, your schedule will be a guaranteed 30 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 40 hours. This is a Monday-Friday position. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with our rehab center, your days are dedicated to supporting patients' well-being and independence. You implement care plans, document progress, and manage billing with care. Collaboration is key as you communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Your treatments, from ADL training to strength exercises, empower patients to regain function. Adhering to insurance guidelines, you ensure effective scheduling and treatment planning. Your teamwork mindset fosters a positive, respectful environment, making each day fulfilling and impactful.

Requirements

Graduate of an Accreditation Council For Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) Educational Program for Occupational Therapist Assistant
Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational therapy (NBCOT) as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Current license and in good standing with the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL) to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of Utah
Current CPR certification
