Occupational Therapy Aide
About The Position
Reno Orthopedic Center is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Therapy Aide to support patient care by preparing patients and treatment areas for therapy sessions and assisting therapists in delivering safe, effective care. The role is based at the Main location at 555 N Arlington Ave. The aide supports the non-treatment aspects of therapy services, helps maintain a safe and well-prepared clinic environment, and documents activities as directed by the therapist. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience providing customer service.

- Experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after patient appointments, including cleaning and maintaining safety.
- Greet patients and direct them to the appropriate treatment area.
- Assist the therapist with the non-treatment aspects of therapy services while following universal precautions.
- Demonstrate proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
- Monitor patient safety, note risk factors, and communicate patient issues or concerns to the therapist.
- Document activities, exercises, and outcomes in the patient's electronic medical record as directed by the therapist.
- Maintain adequate levels of clinic supplies and linens.
