About The Position
Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a creative and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide personalized therapeutic care to senior patients in senior living communities. The role focuses on helping residents improve their quality of life through evaluation, treatment, wellness education, and relationship-building. Therapists work as part of a rehabilitation team and can develop leadership skills through community partnerships. Legacy is a not-for-profit organization founded and led by therapists, and it serves nearly 500 senior living communities throughout the United States.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice, or ability to obtain one before starting.
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.
- Computer proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients.
- Build leadership skills through community partnerships.
- Provide resident wellness education through consultations, program delivery, and patient awareness.
