Shepherd Center is a world-class clinical care, research, and family support facility for individuals with complex conditions like spinal cord and brain injuries, multi-trauma, traumatic amputations, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and pain. Ranked by U.S. News as one of the nation's top hospitals for rehabilitation, Shepherd Center is also recognized as both Spinal Cord Injury and Traumatic Brain Injury Model Systems. It is the only rehabilitation facility in the nation with an on-site intensive care unit, enabling earlier intervention for complex patients. Shepherd Center's culture is one of hope, humor, and hard work, offering career growth, strong co-worker relationships, leadership support, and engaging activities. The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for the assessment and treatment of assigned adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The OT will collaborate with the patient/family to develop and implement a comprehensive treatment program, upholding Shepherd Center's standards and values in all interactions. Programmatic processes may vary, and the OT will meet required competencies within each program.
