About The Position

Argus Home Health Care has been providing a vast array of medical services since 1990, perfecting expertise and professionalism in serving those in need of healthcare in their own homes. Our mission is to provide quality care in the home environment, emphasizing preventative and restorative medical care, with compassion and respect for each individual served. This position involves providing occupational therapy services in clients’ homes as prescribed by the physician and offering consultation and education to agency staff. The role works under agency policies and client care plans, reporting to the Argus of Colorado administrator or designee and supervising assigned personnel.

Requirements

Active Colorado OT license
Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum approved by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association, and the American Occupational Therapy Association
Valid Driver's License & clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Experience in Home Health preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations, including OASIS assessments.
Develop and update care plans with the physician and care team.
Identify barriers, set goals, provide treatment, education, and equipment.
Coordinate services and plan discharge.
Evaluate care effectiveness.
Record evaluations, treatments, and client responses promptly.
Document conference outcomes and quality assurance data.
Attend care conferences, staff meetings, and in-service programs.
Provide education and consultation to clients, families, and staff.
Supervise aides, therapy assistants, and paraprofessionals.
Maintain professional knowledge through education, professional organizations and workshops.
Perform other related duties as needed.
