About The Position
Aegis Therapies, a leading provider of rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join their Outpatient rehab team at John Knox Village in Pompano Beach, Florida. This full-time role focuses on treating active, engaged seniors in a true outpatient setting, specializing in orthopedics, balance, mobility, strength, and fall prevention. The position emphasizes building long-term therapeutic relationships and practicing patient-centered, wellness-based care without high-pressure productivity standards. This is an ideal opportunity for therapists who enjoy outpatient care with a geriatric population that is highly motivated and invested in their health. The role is dedicated specifically to outpatient services, without inpatient or SNF responsibilities.
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida or ability to obtain prior to start
- Interest in outpatient physical therapy and geriatric-focused care
- Passion for helping older adults live active, independent lifestyles
