Occupational Therapy addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, sensory-perceptual, and other aspects of performance in a variety of contexts and environments to support engagement in occupations that affect physical and mental health, well-being and quality of life. The Occupational Therapist III assesses individual patients’ Occupational Therapy needs, and then establishes and implements an occupation-based treatment program and goals, using the therapeutic use of everyday activities to develop, regain, or improve the skills needed for daily living in the home, community, workplace, school and other settings.
