About The Position

Aspire Senior Living New Florence is seeking a talented and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a vital member of our rehabilitation department, the Occupational Therapist (OTR) will play a key role in enhancing the lives of our residents by helping them to maintain their independence, overcome physical and cognitive challenges, and achieve their personal goals. This is a per diem opportunity.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist (OTR)
• Must be a motivated and innovative occupational therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality care

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to address the unique needs of our residents, including those with cognitive and physical impairments
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop targeted interventions to promote functional ability and independence
• Develop and lead group and individual therapy sessions, using a variety of evidence-based techniques and strategies
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
