About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. This position offers the opportunity to work with residents in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting, helping them improve independence, safety, and participation in daily activities.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Complete occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
- Provide treatment focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, balance, coordination, cognition, and safety awareness
- Recommend adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies to support resident independence
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy staff, physicians, and family members to coordinate care and support resident goals
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate to maximize outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
