About The Position

Garden City Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services within the scope of practice. The role focuses on restoring function and preventing disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary disorders.

The Occupational Therapist works as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team and performs responsibilities in accordance with department and Hospital policies, as well as applicable state, federal, and regulatory requirements, including Title 22 Sections 70517 and 70519. This is a full-time, day-shift position.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state Occupational Therapy certification or license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.

Nice To Haves

• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy certification is preferred.
• AOTA membership or affiliation is preferred.
• OTAC membership or affiliation is preferred.

Responsibilities
