About The Position
CVHCare is seeking Occupational Therapists (OT) to join their team. This is an opportunity to join an established leader in the California home health industry. The role involves focusing on specific daily activities and movements, training patients or caregivers in self-grooming, dressing, toileting, bathing, cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and shopping. The OT team also focuses on community re-integration and introducing patients to leisure activities for a holistic approach to health and wellness.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year Occupational Therapy experience desired
- Open to entry level or candidates with no prior home health experience
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license
- Reliable Transportation
- CPR/BLS Certification
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Occupational Therapy License (Required)
Responsibilities
- Train patients or caregivers in activities such as self-grooming, dressing, toileting and bathing.
- Train patients or caregivers in advanced activities such as cooking, housekeeping, laundry and shopping.
- Focus on community re-integration.
- Introduce patients to leisure-type activities that provide a holistic approach to treating health and wellness.
