About The Position
Occupational Therapist – Home Health (Contract) Coverage Area: Menifee, CA (within a 10-mile radius) Job Type: Contract About BioMechanics: At BioMechanics, we are a therapist-owned and operated company with over 10 years of dedicated service in home health care. Our mission is to empower patients through compassionate, evidence-based care—and we’re looking for dedicated Occupational Therapists to join our growing team.
Requirements
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Physical exam within the past year.
- Negative TB test.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home occupational therapy to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery.
- Focus on improving ADLs, home safety, motor skills, cognitive function, and adaptive equipment use.
- Conduct 45-minute therapy sessions, typically 2–3 visits per patient per week.
- Manage a caseload of 1 to 7 patients weekly, depending on your availability.
- Document all sessions using our easy-to-use platform.
