Requirements

Current California Occupational Therapist (OTR) License in good standing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and functional goals.
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve independence with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Supervise and collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and restorative staff.
Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment and treatment techniques to maximize outcomes.
Educate residents and families on treatment plans, adaptive strategies, safety techniques, and discharge recommendations.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
