About The Position

Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our growing outpatient team. This role is ideal for a clinician who values functional, patient-centered care and enjoys working collaboratively in a dynamic outpatient environment. You will evaluate and treat a diverse caseload, develop individualized treatment plans, and play a key role in driving excellent clinical outcomes. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
Current or pending state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in VA.
Upper extremity and hand treating experience required.
A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and achieving outstanding outcomes.
A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Nice To Haves

CHT highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with hand and upper extremity injuries, assessing physical limitations, pain levels, range of motion, strength, and functional abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient’s condition, needs, and goals.
Implement interventions such as therapeutic exercises, modalities, splinting, and manual therapy to promote healing and improve function.
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, exercises, adaptive techniques, and home programs to support continued recovery.
Work closely with orthopedic surgeons, hand specialists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and track progress.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, progress, and outcomes in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Provide follow-up care to ensure recovery goals are met.
Stay up-to-date with current research, techniques, and best practices in hand therapy and occupational therapy.
