About The Position
CVHCare is seeking Occupational Therapists (OT) to join their team in San Ramon, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work in the California home health industry with the freedom to utilize your skills. The position focuses on training patients and caregivers in daily activities such as self-grooming, dressing, toileting, bathing, cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and shopping, using common household items or adaptive equipment. The occupational therapy team also emphasizes community re-integration and introducing patients to leisure activities for a holistic approach to health and wellness.
Requirements
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license
- Reliable Transportation
- CPR/BLS Certification
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year Occupational Therapy experience desired
- Open to entry level or candidates with no prior home health experience
Responsibilities
- Train patients or caregivers in daily activities such as self-grooming, dressing, toileting, and bathing.
- Train patients or caregivers in advanced activities such as cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and shopping.
- Focus on community re-integration.
- Introduce patients to leisure-type activities for a holistic approach to treating health and wellness.
