Occupational Therapist
About The Position
Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a creative and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide personalized rehabilitation care to senior patients in senior living communities. The role focuses on helping residents improve their quality of life through evaluation, treatment, wellness education, and relationship-building. Occupational Therapists work as part of a rehabilitation team and may develop as leaders through community partnerships. The organization is a not-for-profit provider of on-site senior therapy care, founded and led by therapists, serving nearly 500 senior living communities across the United States. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements. The stated pay range is USD $45.00–$55.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice, or ability to obtain one before starting.
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.
- Computer proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients.
- Build leadership skills through community partnerships.
- Provide resident wellness education through consultations, program delivery, and patient awareness.
