Occupational Therapist (OT) - Snowbird Seasonal Contract | Winter Garden Rehab
About The Position
This is a snowbird seasonal assignment for an Occupational Therapist (OT) at PAM Health, which cares for chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care. PAM Health has over 80 hospital locations and employs over 11,000 people across the country. The assignments span 13-24 weeks, pending candidate and hospital needs. The role involves direct patient care, planning and implementing treatment programs, and contributing to the further development of services. The Occupational Therapist must be flexible to meet the needs of the System within many different facilities.
Requirements
- Licensed as OT in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
- Current BLS certification required
- One (1) year of clinical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Direct patient care
- Planning and implementing specific treatment programs in an age-appropriate manner for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health System
- Further development of the services
- Meeting the needs of the System within many different facilities
