About The Position

The Occupational Therapist is a skilled member of the health care team and provides occupational therapy services to patients through the use of initial assessments, physical gains, occupational therapy procedures and interventions in accordance with the established policies and procedures in the hospital and applicable law.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapy, BS or MS degree.
  • Licensed or licensure eligible as an Occupational Therapist by State of Texas.
  • Certification level courses (ACLS, BLS, NRP, etc.) as per department specific competencies.

Responsibilities

  • Provides occupational therapy services to patients through the use of initial assessments, physical gains, occupational therapy procedures and interventions in accordance with the established policies and procedures in the hospital and applicable law.
