About The Position

Brighten Life Home Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide personalized home health care in Tooele, Utah. The role focuses on helping patients recover, improve mobility and daily functioning, and maintain independence in their homes. The therapist provides one-on-one patient care and works with an interdisciplinary team to support patient-centered treatment and quality of life.

The position is offered part-time and PRN, with flexible scheduling and autonomy in patient care and treatment planning. Compensation is $65–$75 per visit, plus mileage reimbursement at $0.56 per mile. Pay depends on experience, qualifications, and skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in Utah.
• Current AOTA certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and therapy skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home health setting.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide occupational therapy services in patients’ homes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members.
• Help patients improve daily living and functional skills.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Respond promptly to patient and referral needs.
• Monitor patient progress and update care plans as needed.
