About The Position

Primary Therapy Source is an outpatient organization providing physical, occupational, speech, and behavioral therapy to patients of all ages. It is described as the leading pediatric therapy organization in Southern Idaho and the only company in the area to offer all four therapies in one place. The organization has two clinic locations and contracts with several local school districts to provide therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults. New graduates and experienced therapists are welcome to apply. The Occupational Therapist provides direct treatment, implements documented treatment plans, and documents progress toward established objectives. The position also involves adapting or modifying instructional materials to meet patients’ needs and abilities, communicating effectively with children and adults, working independently with minimal supervision, and responding flexibly and sensitively to changing situations.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
Valid Idaho license as an Occupational Therapist.
Valid driver’s license.
Pass an employer-conducted background check.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with children and adults.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to react with flexibility and sensitivity to changing situations.

Responsibilities

Provide direct treatment.
Follow and implement documented treatment plans.
Document progress toward established objectives and report the information to the therapist.
Adapt or modify instructional materials according to patients’ needs and abilities.
Interact and communicate effectively with children and adults.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
React with flexibility and sensitivity to changing situations.
