Requirements

Active In-State OT License
BLS (AHA preferred or client specific)
Immunizations: Based on client need
1 year experience

Responsibilities

Assess patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to develop individualized therapy plans.
Design and implement personalized treatment programs to improve patients' functional abilities and independence.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate therapy goals into overall patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to enhance rehabilitation and recovery.
Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and document patient information accurately.
Provide guidance on the use of adaptive equipment to facilitate daily activities.
Conduct home and workplace evaluations to recommend environmental modifications.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy practices.
Follows Tribal Health and client specific policy and procedures.
All other duties as assigned and specified by clinical assignment and site.
