About The Position
Aleca Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a PRN (as needed) position offering excellent work-life balance and flexible scheduling. This role allows for an average of 8 to 30 hours per week, with a minimum commitment of 8 hours per month. PRN staff are paid hourly, not per visit, and have the flexibility to schedule time off for holidays and personal needs. The Occupational Therapist will instruct, motivate, and assist patients in learning and improving activities of daily living under the supervision of the Rehab Director. Aleca Home Health also offers a Direct Care Profit Share Program, providing increased compensation, rewards for quality documentation and care plan completion, and additional incentives. Requirements
- Current OT license through the State Board of Occupational Therapy required.
- A minimum of 2 years OT experience required.
- Valid driver's license with proof of insurance in accordance with state requirements.
- 100% travel required.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 1 year Home Health OT experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides treatment in accordance with established standards of practice.
- Conduct screenings of guests newly admitted to the facility.
- Coordinates treatment plan with guest, family, and other team members.
- Implements and conducts treatment as outlined in the treatment plan.
- Monitors guest’s response to intervention and modifies treatment.
