Occupational Therapist (OT) - PRN Weekend | Westminster Rehab
About The Position
PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide care to a diverse patient population. The role focuses on chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Prior inpatient hospital experience is preferred, though candidates with a desire and commitment to learn are also considered. The Occupational Therapist provides direct patient care and plans and implements age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to further development of services and requires flexibility to meet the System’s needs across different facilities.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Participate in the further development of services.
- Remain flexible to meet the needs of the System across different facilities.
