About The Position
SportsMed is a rapidly growing multidisciplinary practice in the Northeast, offering Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Occupational Hand Therapy, and Acupuncture services. We cater to a diverse patient population, including those with sports-related injuries, post-surgical conditions, and individuals experiencing issues from desk work. The Occupational Therapist plays a crucial role in organizing and conducting therapy programs to aid in rehabilitation, directing patient participation in tasks to improve performance, and facilitating the acquisition of skills necessary for adaptation and productivity to address pathologies.
Requirements
- Connecticut Occupational Therapy License
- Computer Literacy
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Responsibilities
- Treat a variety of hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries and post-op
- Perform initial evaluations, establish recovery goals, and develop plans of care based on findings
- Document all evaluations and treatments
- Educate patients and appropriate parties on evaluations and treatment plans
- Maintain effective communication with patients, SportsMed providers, and other team members.
