About The Position

This is a part-time outpatient position for an Occupational Therapist, offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus and benefits starting on the first day of employment. As part of a large academic medical center, the therapist will collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and personalized patient care. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
Licensed Occupational Therapist with NH eligibility
BLS certification required
Certified Occupational Therapist (OTR) required at hire, renewal optional.

Responsibilities

Examines, evaluates, determines prognosis, and provides intervention.
Reports findings to other health care team members.
Provides discharge recommendations, exercise programs, and family teaching.
Participates in and supports departmental programs such as in-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs, Professional Practice Committee, etc.
Provides documentation, billing, and record keeping. Participates in compliance audits.
Coordinates the scheduling of patients and meetings.
Delegates tasks to support personnel.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
