About The Position

PARS Therapy is seeking a committed home health Occupational Therapist in Channelview, Texas. The Occupational Therapist will support patients through recovery by helping restore movement and enabling them to reach their potential. The role integrates promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation to improve patients’ quality of life and mobility.

The home health positions provide skilled services to people who meet the criteria for Medicare home health coverage. These homebound clients receive services from nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, or occupational therapists.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas.
• Occupational Therapist liability insurance in the state of Texas.
• Graduate degree or greater in Occupational Therapy.
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices.
• Friendly and professional demeanor when explaining procedures and treatments.

Nice To Haves

• Home health or rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services to eligible homebound clients receiving Medicare home health services.
