About The Position

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to work at Fair View Health Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Sedalia, Missouri. The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs, develops and delivers individualized treatment plans, and helps patients improve motor skills, coordination, and daily functioning. The role supports patients in regaining independence and quality of life through patient-centered care. The schedule is Monday through Friday and is described as flexible. Pay is a competitive hourly rate based on experience; the salary range is undisclosed.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state occupational therapy license.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an occupational therapist is preferred; new graduates are welcome.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations.
• Develop, deliver, and adjust personalized treatment plans.
• Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
• Train patients and caregivers on exercises and assistive devices.
• Educate patients on strategies to improve function and safety.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and the full care team.
• Accurately document patient progress and treatment changes.
• Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and research.
