Occupational Therapist (OT) - Snowbird Seasonal Contract | Winter Garden Rehab
About The Position
PAM Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a local snowbird seasonal contract assignment at Winter Garden Rehab. Assignments span 13–24 weeks, depending on candidate and hospital needs; travel reimbursement is not provided. PAM Health provides specialty care for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care, and its teams work to deliver compassionate care and the best possible patient outcomes. The Occupational Therapist provides direct patient care and plans and implements individualized, age-appropriate treatment programs according to occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to further development of services and requires flexibility to meet the System’s needs across different facilities.
Requirements
- Current occupational therapy license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care.
- Plan and implement individualized, age-appropriate occupational therapy treatment programs in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices and the PAM Health System.
- Contribute to the further development of occupational therapy services.
- Remain flexible to meet the System’s needs across different facilities.
