About The Position
Ascension at Home together with Compassus is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist to provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes. The therapist helps patients live safely and productively in their home, complete the daily activities they want and need to do, and improve their quality of life. This includes helping patients and families adapt their environment, modify tasks, and use equipment to support participation in daily activities. The role offers flexible scheduling and a supportive, family-focused culture. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.
- Current state license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Current CPR certification, negative TB screen, and Hepatitis consent or declination.
- Two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
- Therapy skills consistent with generally accepted standards of practice.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment.
