About The Position

Aspect Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support people on the autism spectrum and their families through evidence-informed, person-centred therapy. The role supports participants across The Gables and the Hills Shire region and is itinerant, involving work in the community and across a variety of settings. The position is available full time or part time. The Occupational Therapist works with participants, families and support networks to build practical skills that promote independence, participation and quality of life, while working autonomously in the community and as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy.
• Full registration with AHPRA.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Use of own vehicle for business purposes and willingness to travel across The Hills Region and Blacktown LGAs.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
• Working with Children Check for paid employment in the state where the applicant resides.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ certificate.
• May be required to provide an international police clearance.
