About The Position
Human Touch Home Health is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to serve patients throughout Fredericksburg and surrounding communities. This role offers a sign-on bonus, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity for one-on-one patient care. The OT will complete evaluations, develop treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, assess home safety, educate patients and caregivers, monitor progress, and coordinate care. The position emphasizes helping patients regain independence with activities of daily living and safely navigate their homes. The company has been providing quality home health care for over 27 years.
Requirements
- Active Virginia Occupational Therapist License
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a home health setting

- Home Health Experience Preferred, but Not Required

Responsibilities
- Complete OT evaluations in patients' homes
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Help patients regain independence with activities of daily living
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and function
- Assess home safety and recommend adaptive equipment or modifications
- Educate patients and caregivers
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans
- Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, therapists, and other team members
- Complete accurate and timely documentation using WellSky
