About The Position

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is hiring a full-time Licensed Occupational Therapist for a skilled nursing facility in Wellsville, Missouri. The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs, creates and delivers individualized treatment plans, and helps patients improve motor skills, coordination, and daily function. The role supports patients in regaining independence and quality of life.

The position offers a flexible Monday–Friday schedule and a competitive hourly rate based on experience. Requirements

• Master’s or doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state occupational therapy license.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an occupational therapist; new graduates are welcome.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations.
• Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans.
• Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
• Train patients and caregivers on exercises and assistive devices.
• Educate patients on strategies to improve function and safety.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and the full care team.
• Accurately document patient progress and treatment changes.
• Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and research.
