Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree.
Licensed in the State of Ohio.
Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and ability to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
Demonstrates dependability by being consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.

Responsibilities

Comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulatory requirements.
Administer treatments and occupational agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
Assist patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
Ensure that any changes in patient status are documented accurately and on a timely basis.
Participate in operational aspects of the department, maintain performance improvement activities within the department and participate in all Quality Assurance activities.
Coordinate, delegate, and supervise responsibilities assigned to support staff (COTA, Rehab Techs).
Provide input in formulating budget, assist in evaluating department performance versus budget controls and take appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines.
Participate in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs.
