About The Position
Theracare is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to serve in the Mooresville School Systems, approximately 20 hours per week. Theracare has been exclusively serving the community since 1996 and is a top Indiana provider of contract Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy. They are a known rehab provider of choice with a strong emphasis on customer service and have facilitated partnerships with some of the elite nursing homes in Indiana and schools across the country. Theracare is an employee-owned company.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state license/certification
- Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
- Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
