About The Position

UW Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services at University Hospital, which is recognized as the #1 hospital in Wisconsin. This role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans aimed at maximizing functional outcomes and optimizing patient discharge. The Occupational Therapist will deliver patient and family-centered care within a fast-paced, dynamic acute care environment at a nationally recognized academic medical center. The position requires demonstrating a high level of clinical excellence, autonomy, adaptability, and engagement. The successful candidate will also commit to ongoing learning to advance their clinical knowledge, skills, and abilities through peer mentorship, clinical education, and other learning opportunities, and will take an active role in program development and quality improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months
