About The Position
The Occupational Therapist is an excellent opportunity to administer participants' evaluations and therapeutic procedures. This professional-level position offers you independent operation, and the capacity to apply your initiative, analysis, and service orientation in your daily work functions.
Requirements
- Registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association or successfully completed the educational requirements of occupational therapy
- State of Washington Occupational Therapist license
- Health Care Provider level CPR certification
- Minimum one (1) year of occupational therapy experience
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy in accordance with the plan of care
- Assist the IDT in the evaluation and assessment of the patient's functional level by applying appropriate diagnostic and prognostic procedures and tests
- Recommend orthotics as indicated by condition and needs
- Treat the participant through the use of therapeutic activities designed to restore function and self-care activities for the purpose of improving function
- Observe, record, and report the participant's reaction to treatment and any changes in the participant’s condition to the physician, Clinical Director or designed, or IDT as appropriate
