About The Position

BHMG Physical Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist with a Hand/Orthopedic emphasis for their outpatient therapy clinic in Radcliff. The role involves maintaining pertinent certifications and licensure, adhering to departmental policies and procedures, and participating in various departmental functions and training. The therapist is expected to maintain productivity levels within acceptable standards and attend all required safety training programs, understanding their responsibilities related to general safety, department safety, job-specific hazards, and national patient safety goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association required
• Current state licensure required and must be renewed yearly
• FIM certification maintained on regular basis
• NBCOT certification is required

Nice To Haves

• Two years previous experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains pertinent certification / licensure and annual competencies as defined by job description and department guidelines without expiration.
• Follows departmental policy and procedures.
• Participates in assigned work area based on service triggers.
• Participates in special functions as sponsored by Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation unless otherwise assigned.
• Completes yearly competencies as defined by job description and department guidelines.
• Maintains productivity levels within acceptable departmental standards.
• Attends all required safety training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, specific job related hazards, and national patient safety goals.
