Requirements

A valid Texas state license to practice Occupational Therapy and adherence to the Texas Practice Act & Rules and AOTA Code of Ethics.
Experience (or passion to gain experience!) working with children and families in a therapeutic setting.
A knack for promoting independence with gross/fine motor skills, sensory regulation, and cognitive development.
Skilled in promoting independence across gross/fine motor, sensory regulation, and cognitive development.
Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
A commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat diverse pediatric needs, including developmental delays, neurological conditions, sensory processing challenges, and more.
Develop individualized Plans of Care to help your clients thrive in daily activities like play, education, self-care, and social participation.
Collaborate with families for skill carryover and resources.
Stay current with professional development and evidence-based practices.
Maintain documentation, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and ethical practices.
