About The Position

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to work in a skilled nursing facility in Center, Missouri. The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs, creates and delivers individualized treatment plans, and helps patients improve motor skills, coordination, and daily function. The role supports patients in regaining independence and quality of life.

The position offers a one-on-one therapy focus, with group or concurrent treatments accounting for less than 1% of care, and realistic schedules intended to support work-life balance. The schedule is Monday through Friday and flexible. Pay is a competitive hourly rate based on experience. Requirements

• Master’s or doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state occupational therapy license.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an occupational therapist is preferred; new graduates are welcome.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations.
• Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans.
• Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
• Train patients and caregivers on exercises and assistive devices.
• Educate patients on strategies to improve function and safety.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and the full care team.
• Accurately document patient progress and treatment changes.
• Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and research.
