About The Position

This position is for an Occupational Therapist working day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a guaranteed 35 hours per week during the assignment. The Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitative care to patients experiencing physical, cognitive, or functional limitations caused by injury, illness, surgery, or chronic conditions. The role focuses on improving patients’ ability to perform daily living activities and increasing independence in areas such as mobility, coordination, self-care, and functional tasks. The therapist will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy programs. The position requires strong patient interaction, clinical assessment skills, and the ability to manage a consistent therapy caseload while promoting recovery and improving quality of life in a rehabilitation-focused healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the appropriate state.
  • Graduated from an accredited occupational therapy program with a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • BLS (AHA) certification.
  • 2 years of experience.
  • Strong patient interaction skills.
  • Clinical assessment skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in rehabilitation settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, or skilled nursing facilities.
