At Tennyson Center for Children, our core values guide everything we do. We are Joyful, finding optimism and strength even in challenges; Curious, always learning and innovating to provide the best care; Dependable, building trust through reliability; Authentic, celebrating uniqueness and creating safe, inclusive spaces; and Compassionate, deeply caring for our teammates, our clients, and the community we serve. If these values resonate with you, we’d love to have you join our team and help us make a lasting impact on the lives of children across Colorado! The Part-Time Occupational Therapist delivers occupational therapy services to an assigned student caseload, including compensation, remediation and prevention strategies and adaptations, with a focus on functional mobility and safe, efficient access to and participation in activities and routines in natural learning environments. The part-time OT independently evaluates student needs within their assigned caseload, plans and provides interventions, and supports motor development and participation in everyday routines and activities that are part of the educational program. Occupational therapy interventions promote skill acquisition and environmental adaptation and are commonly embedded within the context of student activities and routines.
