About The Position

Salinas Valley Post-Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their premier rehabilitation team. The role offers industry-leading compensation and a resident-centered environment focused on exceptional clinical outcomes. The position is available for Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN employment. The facility is located in Salinas, CA, in Monterey County.

Requirements

• Current, valid California Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills.
• A passion for the geriatric population.
• SNF experience is preferred, but New Graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Complete initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for residents with functional, cognitive, or ADL limitations.
• Provide skilled treatments targeting ADLs, functional mobility, strength, cognition, and safety.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to ensure a safe transition back to home life.
• Work closely with PT, SLP, Nursing, and Medical teams to deliver a holistic, coordinated approach to recovery.
• Maintain precise, timely documentation of resident progress in accordance with California state standards.
• Empower residents and their families through personalized therapy programs and caregiver training.
