About The Position

The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides a full range of occupational therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions. The role works in an interdisciplinary environment and follows the position’s qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. The OT conducts assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, implements interventions to improve patients’ functional abilities, educates patients and families about daily living strategies, documents progress, and adjusts treatment plans as needed. The position is at The Springs at Lafayette in Lafayette, Indiana.

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Must have and maintain current, valid state OT licensure or registration.
• Experience: 0–1 years.

Nice To Haves

• Current valid CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies for daily living activities.
• Document patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
