Per Diems shall be required to work 1 major and 2 minor holidays per year & 4 weekend days (Saturday or Sunday) per 3 month period of time. A weekend is defined as a Saturday or Sunday. Major and Minor Holidays are defined as: major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day) and two (2) other holidays throughout the year if and as needed by the Medial Center. The range for the role is $62.0791-$63.9415/ hr (Per Diem) Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved and accredited Occupational Therapy Program, a baccalaureate or entry-level master's degree in occupational therapy, or the equivalent.
  • Individuals graduating after 1/1/07 are required to have a Master’s Degree.
  • New graduate eligible
  • Current NYS license or eligibility.
  • Completion of NBCOT registration exam or eligible, member AOTA desirable.
  • Current and ongoing BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development, implementation and coordination of an occupational therapy program to provide screening, evaluation and treatment of patient of all ages.
