About The Position

Yeled v'Yalda is seeking Licensed Occupational Therapists for part-time and/or full-time positions in Brooklyn, NY. New graduates are welcome. Positions are available in various Brooklyn neighborhoods (Boro Park, Williamsburg, Crown Heights, and Flatbush) and Queens/Far Rockaway. The settings include home, pre-school, elementary schools, and clinics, primarily serving children aged 0-21.

Requirements

• College degree
• NYS Occupational Therapist License
• Experience in Pediatrics

Responsibilities

• Conduct Occupational Therapy programs to facilitate growth in sensory-motor development to increase level of function relative to age in such areas as fine/gross motor skill development, sensory motor integration, sensory modulation, self-care, and activities of daily living.
• Develop a treatment plan and monitor progress for each child on his/her caseload.
• Utilize independent clinical judgment, well-developed communication skills, and the ability to work well with coworkers and families of clients.
