About The Position

Brighten Life Home Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide personalized home health care in Tooele, Utah. The role focuses on helping patients recover, improve mobility, maintain independence, and achieve their highest level of function and quality of life in their homes. The therapist provides one-on-one patient care, exercises autonomy in patient care and treatment planning, and works with a supportive interdisciplinary team. The position is offered part-time and PRN, with flexible scheduling. Pay is $65–$75 per visit, plus $0.56 per mile for mileage reimbursement; pay is based on experience, qualifications, and skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in Utah.
• Current AOTA certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and therapy skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home health setting.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide occupational therapy services in patients’ homes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members.
• Help patients improve daily living and functional skills.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Respond promptly to patient and referral needs.
• Monitor patient progress and update care plans as needed.
