Requirements
- Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Passion for helping patients achieve their highest level of function and independence
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing, post-acute, rehabilitation, or geriatric experience preferred
- New graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply
- Experience with Casamba, Net Health, PointClickCare, or similar EMR systems is a plus

Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders and established care plans
- Help patients improve performance in activities of daily living (ADLs), self-care tasks, mobility, cognition, and functional independence
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and families to coordinate care
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility requirements
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and discharge planning
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapeutic techniques and home programs
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and professional standards of practice
